End result was a tongue-lashing for both parties.
The lesson for all us two-wheelers is that if someone does something bad enough that you call the police, DO NOT TOUCH THE GUY OR HIS CAR.
If no one had touched the guy, he would have gone to jail on assault, for sure.
But since there was some mischief from the lycra camp it was basically one of us goes to jail with him or everyone has a Rodney King moment and we all try to get along.
I'll say my favorite part of the whole thing (apart from everyone being in one piece - that's key) was that the guy had a camper on his truck, and on that camper was a sticker of a kid praying and a cross.
Alright you Christians, practice what you preach already! Thou Shalt Not Kill...turn the other cheek...do unto others...etc.
Good to have everyone riding away from it though, for sure.
Hope the rest of the season is less interesting.
