Port last night was pretty fast

Finally got my GPS unit fixed so I have some lap averages from last night:

Some warm up laps before but then to business:

28.0 (consistent huh?)

I never registered one over 28.8 - I think it's important to note that you are not necessarily "pack" speed ;-)

For instance, you had 30.1 and 27.0, but I had a 28.8 and a 28-something on those last two laps.

I think you went from back-to-front on that 30mph lap or something.

Being MrScience, this makes me realize that it's possible to "game" the lap averages by starting at the back of the pack into the headwind and attacking off the front after the bart underpass

Next Tuesday 8:10 I'm on it...we should go for a record

I agree: the 30 mpg lap was when John and I were off the front.

Sooner or later the averages of the averages have to work out though. You can game one lap but overall....
