After the pseudo-current TO contingent (Jason James, Haydn and I) peeled off at Walnut Creek, Haydn got all frisky. He did two solid 10 minute or so stints at the front where I was over threshold just hanging on his wheel. Does this sort of power just magically appear as you get older or something? Jesus
And were you guys killing it all day out there, or was it just steady and hard the whole way?
Hopefully next time I'll have a big enough hall pass to do the full ride with you guys. I have some very nicely laid pavers in my back yard now though ;-)
wow i made your blog, photo and all. good ride, i shouldn't have driven home over the bridge after that strong ass beer. went to sleep on my couch immediately. see you tomorrow at poo
This is nice to read. I've been racing out here on the East Coast - not as tough as the NorCal scene, that's for sure, but fun. I miss all the folks mentioned in these nice pages - I'm pretty much riding alone out here, but did join a big team and am meeting/racing with some folks. Takes time, though, you know to get the camaraderie that you have when you've ridden with the same dudes for a while.
It's awesome to read about John, Justin, Ryan, Joel kicking some major tail in the 2s! You guys make me proud to say I once raced with y'all.

Is there anything to be read into on your lack of consistent capitalization?
*so says the English major...

Hey Clark!
Good to hear from you. Hope all is well back there.
Is the racing similar? easier? harder?
